Both quantity and quality are important at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center: in addition to offering the widest range of medical services in Will County, the hospital is also nationally recognized for its fast and efficient Level II emergency room, a fully-accredited open-heart surgery program, and advanced procedures such as Birmingham Hip Resurfacing. The hospital is currently undergoing a $126 million dollar renovation, including a new eight-story patient tower.

Silver Cross Hospital and its many satellite facilities feature award-winning customer service and patient safety. In addition to the spectrum of health services offered in the hospital itself, Silver Cross has recently added a cardiovascular institute, a birthing center and an outpatient pavilion. In 2007, the hospital will begin work on nearly doubling the size of their emergency room.
