Forty-five minutes from downtown Chicago (the Loop), Crestwood is located in the transportation hub of the south suburbs. Immediately off the Tri-State Tollway (I-294), the town has easy access to interstate highways, trains and airports. Cicero Avenue, 135th Street, Cal-Sag Road, Pulaski Avenue and the Midlothian turnpike are principal thoroughfares intersecting Crestwood.

Midway Airport is the closest commercial airport at approximately 10 miles away, and O’Hare International Airport is 25 miles away. Public use airports include the near-by Tinley Park Helistop and Frankfort Airport. 

Oak Lawn, Alsip, Midlothian, Palos Heights and Oak Forest are among neighboring cities.
