I am very proud to represent the Village of Crete and its thousands of wonderful residents. Crete is a lovely community hidden at the far southern edge of the Chicago metropolitan area. With farmland to our south and suburbia to our north we have many amenities that other communities only dream about. We are blessed with ample open space, diverse housing stock, good transportation, great local services and reasonable land values to name just a few reasons to live and work in the greater Crete area. We also have one historic significance. Add in a great school system, park district, new library and a very well run conservative local government and you have all the ingredients for a successful and desirable community. Please take the opportunity to visit our area and see for yourself, we would love to have you experience what we’ve known all along; Crete is the hidden treasure of the southern suburbs.
