St. Clair Square Mall

The world of retailing thrives in Fairview Heights in its star attraction – St. Clair Square Mall – and in additional large and small retail centers that line the city’s major thoroughfares.

Located alongside I-64, St. Clair Square Shopping Mall has more than 1.04 million square feet under one roof. Four major regional and national department stores anchor the huge two-level mall. They are Sears, J.C. Penney, Macy’s, and Dillard’s. More than 140 other speciality shops, stores, boutiques, restaurants and services command space along the mall’s elegant concourses. Several executive office buildings are situated near the mall.

The mall attracts shoppers from throughout southwestern Illinois. As a convenience to shoppers, the mall offers complimentary strollers and wheelchairs.

Several other shopping centers in Fairview Heights encompass more than two million square feet of selling space, and are home to more than 250 retail establishments. Virtually every major national retailer is represented in such facilities as Winchester Plaza, Marketplace Shopping Center, Crossroads Center, Pontiac Plaza, LakeLand Square, and Lincoln Place.

Winchester Plaza

Winchester Plaza is anchored by Bandana’s Barbeque and Laredo’s. Marketplace Shopping Center features Burlington Coat Factory, Best Buy, La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Borders Books & Music, Men’s Wearhouse, and Kinko’s. Crossroads Center consists of a Hobby Lobby, T.J. Maxx and Home Town Buffet Restaurant. Fairview Heights Plaza is comprised of Circuit City, Sports Authority, Bally Total Fitness, and Gordman’s (with a number of small shops between.) Lincoln Place features Lowe’s, Kohl’s, Old Navy, Marshalls, Famous Brand Shoes, Linens & Things, Office Depot, and Ultimate Electronics. Convenience centers are scattered throughout the community to serve residents near where they live.

St. Clair Antique Mall is a prime attraction for antique lovers. Located near St. Clair Square, the mall has 140 distinctive booths with more than 100 display cases filling some 15,000-square feet of space. There are also a number of small shops, stores, and services throughout the community.
