The Village of Frankfort is strategically located 37 miles southwest of Chicago. Frankfort sits at the crossroads of U.S. Route 45 (LaGrange Road) and U.S. Route 30 (Lincoln Highway), just six miles south of I-80 and three miles west of I-57. The new southern extension of I-355, currently under construction, will easily connect Frankfort to Chicago’s north, west and northwest suburbs.
The EJ & E railroad provides freight rail service for the Village’s industrial properties.
Both O’Hare and Midway airports are approximately an hour’s drive away, and the potential for a third airport in Peotone insures Frankfort as a strategic location for future commercial and industrial development.
Metra stations are available 1.5 miles north of Frankfort for convenient commuter transportation to Chicago’s Loop.
