Mayor’s Letter
Welcome to Frankfort, where residents and business operators take pride in the quality of our schools, parks and village programs. On Breidert Green, in the center of our historic district, you are invited to attend any of our year round activities from summer concerts to art fairs, country markets and winter carnivals. While you are in town, take a look around at our beautiful residential subdivisions and enjoy our unique gourmet restaurants and boutique shops, as well as our modern shopping centers.
Frankfort is a suburban Chicago community of 17,000 people. We are proud of our high quality commercial and residential developments. Our education systems continue along their award-winning paths, both academically and in sports. Our extensive park and recreation programs are enjoyed by people of all ages. With a number of light industrial developments, many Frankfort residents find work inside the Village.
