Worship

Downtown Geneva’s historic churches add to the beauty and serene quality this city has to offer. The amazing architecture of these early churches has stood the test of time and gives worshipers of today a glimpse into the past. Built in 1843 by a group of colonists from Massachusetts, The Unitarian Church still stands today making it the oldest church in Geneva. More than a dozen houses of worship are available, including many built in the 1800s.

A strong sense of spirituality is evident in residents, many volunteering and assisting others in the community through a multitude of church-sponsored projects and events. While Geneva grows and expands, its churches must follow suit by growing in size as well as offering new programs and services to fit the changing needs of its residents.
