No matter the month, you’ll always find something to do in Glen Ellyn. April brings Easterfest and a pet parade. Each May, the Taste of Glen Ellyn kicks off the festival season with treats cooked-up by local chefs, musical entertainment, a Village Fair, and kids’ activities. During the summer months families enjoy Jazz Picnics in the Park, a Farmer’s Market, Festival of the Arts, a Cardboard Boat Regatta, an annual sidewalk sale, and weekly Rally Cruise Nights, featuring classic cars revving their engines and cruising downtown streets. As temperatures cool, residents gather for a Halloween celebration and, later in December, for a Holiday Walk and parade. During the Holiday Walk, Santa arrives, the great tree is lit, and merchants schedule seasonal sales and celebrations.

The McAninch Arts Center at the College of DuPage hosts a year-round line-up of theatrical and musical productions. Locally known as "The Mac," the arts center houses five professional resident theater and musical ensembles, three theaters, and an art gallery and welcomes nationally acclaimed entertainers, performing everything from jazz and opera to rock ’n’ roll. The four-time Grammy-award-winning Glen Ellyn Children’s Chorus, made up of 250 homegrown talents, performs both locally and abroad and offers outreach programs that include clubs, workshops, festivals, and scholarships.
