Our purpose is to inform, highlight and actively help promote the commercial, industrial and retail community of the Hoffman Estates area, as well as to provide a variety of venues to showcase your company.

Tax deductible membership investments finance the Hoffman Estates Chamber of Commerce. Revenues generated are returned to the members through the programs and services listed below.

Networking: Opportunities are available through Business After Hours, leads groups, Chamber social events and committees; to make new business contacts and to receive leads and referrals.

Publicity & Exposure: Through cost-effective advertising in Chamber publications, promotional mailings, business expos, relocation packets and the Internet, our members can take advantage of numerous opportunities for increased visibility and exposure.

Referrals: Chamber offices are constantly asked for references. Ours is no different, except we refer Chamber members ONLY. Members helping Members achieve success.

Business Advocacy: The Chamber’s Government Relations Committee provides Chamber members with a unique opportunity to make their voices heard by policy makers at the local, regional and state levels. In addition, the Committee studies and analyzes issues of interest.

Monthly Newsletter: Our newsletter keeps you in touch with the latest business news and events, Chamber activities and news about other Chamber members. The newsletter is also available online.

Discounts/Special Rates: Through our member-to-member discount program, you will be able to take advantage of special pricing offered by Chamber members to Chamber members.

Local Recognition: Attractive door decals, member plaques or a membership certificate suitable for framing identify you as a Chamber member and a part of the established Hoffman Estates business community.

Community Guide: This annual publication features highlights of the Hoffman Estates community with your Chamber business listed at least twice. Over 14,000 copies are delivered to local residences and businesses.

Bulk Mail Permit: Save time and money—the Chamber’s bulk mail permit can be utilized free of charge for your bulk mailings.

Web Site: Community and Chamber information are available at the click of a mouse. The Chamber database is updated weekly, as is the calendar of events.

Community Involvement: The Chamber sponsors a number of community projects throughout the year.

Chamber-Sponsored Events

Hoffman Estates Chamber members think of the community as much more than simply the place where their businesses are located. Many Chamber members live here, too. They are raising families here, are involved in local schools, civic and community groups…in short, for many members, Hoffman Estates is their home, too. And whether they live here or not, Chamber members feel a personal connection to the community and its residents. So, community involvement is a natural outgrowth of their personal investment in the community. Take a look at the many Chamber-sponsored events and activities listed below and you’ll see what we mean when we say that Hoffman Estates Chamber members have an “up close and personal” connection to the community:

Fishing Derby: Held in early June. Fishing enthusiasts of all ages have the opportunity to compete for cash and prizes…and enjoy a great family event right in their own hometown!

Business Under the Big Top: An opportunity for residents to learn more about local businesses and organizations and the products and services they offer, all under the “Big Top.” In addition, this community event offers family attractions, entertainment and safety awareness exhibits.

Tools for Success: Held July 1 through August 15, this Chamber-sponsored community drive collects thousands of dollars worth of new school supplies for distribution to needy children attending area schools.

Fashion Show/Scholarship Event: An annual event sponsored by the Chamber to provide both an opportunity for members and their guests to network over a meal and enjoy a fashion show, as well as raise funds to provide higher education scholarships to local students.

Random Acts of Kindness: An opportunity to remember that a little caring goes a long way. The Chamber celebrates this national event by coordinating delivery of valentines made by local school children to shut-ins and elderly residents in the community.

Golf Outing: An annual event that provides a relaxed setting for area business people to network and enjoy a great game of golf.

Government Relations: This important Chamber committee stays on top of local and regional issues being considered by governmental bodies, and presents businesses’ point of view regarding proposed new or amended regulations, as well as sponsoring programs throughout the year to keep members informed about legislation that might affect them.

Referrals: Whether you’re looking for a new doctor or a new driveway, the Chamber office can provide referrals to local Chamber members in just about any category.
