Worship

From the presence of fellowships that have been in the community for decades to the establishment of contemporary religious circles, Hoffman Estates is the proud home of a truly diverse spiritual community. No matter what the belief system, residents and visitors are sure to find a congregation to suit any faith-based need.

Regular opportunities for worship, along with a multitude of social and outreach services, are offered to parishioners of all ages. The Chicago-based Life Changers International Church and the Beth Tikvah Congregation, a Reform Judaism community, are among the wealth of diverse choices for worship in Hoffman Estates.

St. Hubert Parish has been a big part of the spiritual community in the Village since 1960. In the beginning, the congregation joined in the dining room of a local tavern; but, as the population increased in Hoffman Estates, so did the Catholic population, and a permanent church was constructed in 1966-67. Today, St. Hubert Parish serves approximately 3,500 families in the Hoffman Estates area.

Over the years, St. Hubert Parish experienced continual growth and expansion projects, with its latest undertaking launched in January of 2007. The “Fulfilling Our Vision” campaign called for a rejuvenation of the parish’s worship space, along with a number of additional enhancements to the Parish and School facilities on campus. A replacement roof, updated heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, and infrastructure work to improve accessibility for the elderly and disabled were coupled with modifications to the church’s interior. New lighting, sound system, flooring and a reconfiguration of the entrance and gathering space were all part of the interior upgrades. The newly renovated St. Hubert Parish opened for its first mass on November 15, 2008.
