Letter from the Village President
The Village of Homer Glen is committed to preserving, protecting and enhancing our community’s quality of life through its planning and economic development efforts. The proximity of the I-355 Tollway and the development opportunities along our major commercial corridors has placed the Village in an enviable position for quality development. As a community of 24,220 residents with household incomes averaging $119,394, the Village is proud of its business community and enjoys a positive partnership with the Homer Township Chamber of Commerce.
The launching of the “Shop Homer Glen” campaign is a recent example of the Village’s desire to strengthen the local business community. The dedication of our professional staff that works closely with the development community and professional economic development organizations has proven to be successful in retaining and recruiting quality businesses despite the economic times.
