
Culture and entertainment venues are plentiful throughout the county, with everything from unique art exhibits to extensive community festivals.
The Kane County Events Center, located in Geneva, offers venues for entertainment and culture. The Events Center is home to the Campbell Home, a venue that hosts a multitude of events, such as art exhibits, business meetings, and a number of parties, from weddings to reunions. The Art Gallery at the Events Center presents a new and different art exhibit about every five weeks. The Center is also home to Elfstrom Stadium, the home field of the Kane County Cougars minor league baseball team.
The Kane County Fairgrounds in Saint Charles affords countless events throughout the year, including the famed Kane County Fair, which takes place every summer. The Fair welcomes people of all ages to partake in the variety of entertainment offered, including music concerts, a talent show, carnival rides, exhibits and food vendors. The Fairgrounds is also home to a number of other events including art shows, cultural festivals and concerts.
More interesting sites within Kane County include the Elgin Community Theater, Hemmens Cultural Center, the Garfield Farm Museum, the Fox River Trolley Museum, the Fox Valley Folk Music and Storytelling Festival and countless more.
