Aurora is home to the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA), an independent state facility providing preparatory courses for those interested in pursuing the fields of mathematics and science. Enrollment is at 650 students in grades 10 through 12. IMSA is a nationally and internationally recognized front-runner in mathematics and science education.
