
HIGHLAND PARK

Positioned a mere 23 miles north of Chicago’s thriving downtown, the city of Highland Park is a beautiful lakefront community, offering residents and visitors a peaceful, natural setting complete with attractive homes, an abundance of recreational and cultural opportunities and a stable, progressive economic sector. HIGHWOOD

Situated adjacent to Highland Park, on the north shore of Lake Michigan, Highwood encompasses a full-time recreation department offering several facilities including a large gym, community center, lighted ball field and three parks, and is served by the Highwood Police Department and the Highwood Fire Department. North Shore Elementary School District #112 and Township High School District #113 provide education in the area, along with one parochial school. INDIAN CREEK
Incorporated in 1957, Indian Creek is a community wholly comprised of single-family homes situated on one-acre lots. Hawthorn Elementary School District, Mundelein District #120 and Libertyville District #128, coupled with a number of private and parochial schools in surrounding communities, provide excellent education to the residents of Indian Creek. Placed between Vernon Hills and Mundelein, this small residential community of approximately 200 is bisected by Route 45 and has access to Interstate 94 by nearby Route 60.
ISLAND LAKE

The 78-acre lake within Island Lake, along with the Fox River, provides residents and visitors recreation throughout the year with activities including fishing, swimming, boating, water sports and ice-skating. The village has instilled a Recreation Program and is within close reach of several golf courses. Island Lake was incorporated in 1950 and is now home to over 3,100 people. KILDEER
Less than 30 miles from Chicago, Kildeer is a thriving community positioned in the southwest corner of Lake County in Ela Township. Recently recognized as one of the best suburbs in which to reside, Kildeer has seen a substantial growth since its incorporation in 1958. Now encompassing approximately 3,700 residents, the community is the site of many custom homes, open spaces and beautiful wooded areas complete with scenic lakes and ponds.
