North Chicago, Old Mill Creek, Park City, Riverwoods and Round Lake

NORTH CHICAGO

With a population exceeding 36,000, North Chicago provides its growing residential base with a diverse array of housing options, nestled near the city’s top amenities.

The community is served by the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science and The Clinics at Rosalind Franklin University, providing top-rate medical care to its patients. The area’s veterans can seek healthcare at the city’s Veteran’s Administration Medical Center. Old Mill Creek, positioned in north central Lake County, a mere five miles south of the Wisconsin border, is a modest village of just over 250 residents. Interstate 94, State Route 173 and U.S. Route 45 all sit adjacent to the close-knit community, with major thoroughfares Hunt Club Road, Millburn Road and Hutchins Road winding through Old Mill Creek.

PARK CITY

Providing convenient north-south access to and from Park City are U.S. Route 41 and State Route 43, with east-west access offered through State Route 120. The city of more than 6,650 enjoys leisurely opportunities through several community parks, the Greenbelt Forest Preserve and nearby Lake Michigan. Park City currently offers residents and those in the market looking to buy or rent a plethora of home selections, from single and multi-family housing to apartment complexes.

RIVERWOODS

With a population of nearly 4,000, Riverwoods provides a quiet, high quality of life for both residents and businesses located in the area. The village enjoys a strong business climate, with major employers including Commerce Clearing House and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter — established in the area. Riverwoods, positioned along Deerfield Road amid State Route 21 and Interstate 94, is easily accessible to downtown Chicago and is only a 20-mile drive to O’Hare International Airport. Centrally located halfway between Chicago and Milwaukee, Round Lake is home to more than 10,000 and growing, with new subdivisions and business ventures sprouting up throughout the village. Positioned in the northeastern section of the county, Round Lake has access to several natural recreation spots, along with a number of parks and other services provided by the Round Lake Area Park District. Education can be found through a handful of school districts that serve the village.
