VERNON HILLS

Incorporated in 1958, Vernon Hills has become a flourishing community, attracting both residents and a wide variety of business ventures. Major employers in the area include Zebra Technologies, CDW, American Hotel Register, Mitsubishi, Westfield Mall and ZF Industries, to name a few. These, coupled with an array of dining, entertainment, lodging and shopping options, have contributed to Vernon Hills’ strong, stable business environment. Its 23,353 residents take pleasure in this selection of services, along with the village’s educational offerings, from primary educational institutions and the new Vernon Hills High School to a campus of the esteemed College of Lake County; beautiful neighborhoods, providing everything from smaller rental units to beautiful custom-built homes; and vast recreational opportunities through 416 acres of parks, a new YMCA facility, winding bike paths and the well-manicured White Deer Run championship golf course. www.vernonhills.org
