Outstanding Educational Opportunities

Local School Districts 47, 155, 158 and 300 provide outstanding education for Lake in the Hills residents. Parochial schools, including Catholic St. Margaret Mary and St. John's elementary schools provide a religious-based learning experience.

Elgin Community College is a short drive and serves 9,000 students at its 190-acre campus. Lake in the Hills is also served by McHenry County Community College, which is a 109-acre campus, serving approximately 5,000 students. Chicago is home to some of the nation's leading universities and colleges.
