Lake Zurich Community Unit School District 95
CUSD 95 serves nearly 6,000 preK-12 students from the communities of Lake Zurich, Deer Park, Hawthorn Woods, Kildeer, North Barrington and unincorporated portions of Lake County. The district operates one high school, two middle schools and five elementary schools. CUSD 95 provides a wealth of services to its students including extracurricular activities, speech services and gifted education along with class through partnership with the Lake County Area Vocational Center and the Lake County Educational Service Center.

College of Lake County
The CLC-Southlake Campus, located in Vernon Hills, primarily serves communities in southwest and southeast Lake County with a wide range of courses and services. The Southlake Campus offers a variety of educational options: credit courses that transfer to a four-year college or university; career programs to start a new career right away; cutting-edge workshops to enhance professional and business entrepreneurial skills; English as a Second Language (ESL) classes; and leisure learning programs targeted to adults age 50 and older. The Southlake Campus tripled in size due to recent building construction resulting in the addition of a full-service library, testing/tutoring center, bookstore, computer and science labs, and state-of-the-art classrooms. Stevenson High School, located in Lincolnshire, serves students living in Long Grove and portions of Lake Zurich, Kildeer and Hawthorn Woods. The district has earned four Blue Ribbon Awards for Excellence in Education as well as the U.S. Department of Education’s New American High Schools Award and has been named among the top high schools in the country by Newsweek and U.S. News & World Report. Comprised of one high school, two middle schools, eight elementary schools and one early childhood center, Barrington 220 is a preK-12 school district serving more than 9,000 students from a 72-square-mile area. Fremont School District 79
More than 2,250 preK-8 students from a 34-square-mile area enroll at one of three schools in Fremont School District 79. District accolades include the highest ISAT math scores among third graders, with 99 percent meeting or exceeding standards in the last few years. Students may participate in numerous extracurricular activities in sports, fine arts and academics, plus many services are in place to help students receive their best education including ESL and bilingual education, speech therapy, occupational/physical therapy, summer school and enrichment programs.

School District 96

District 96 currently serves approximately 3,275 K-8 students in seven schools. District performance on the ISAT is exceptional, with a high percentage of students meeting or exceeding Illinois learning standards.
