Chairman’s Letter
Welcome to the Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce.
Simply drive around Lisle and you can see the excitement in the air! From the new exhibits at the Morton Arboretum to the major renovation and redesign of downtown Lisle and the Garfield basin, Lisle is full of major developments and changes. While still blessed with the quaintness of a small town, Lisle is thriving with all the dynamics of a growing business community. Few cities of our size can boast of such incredible educational institutions and recreational opportunities that draw visitors from across the country.
Through the Chamber’s numerous weekly and monthly events we continue to promote our mission of nurturing business relationships and opportunities for all of our members. In addition to our newly revised website and wonderful monthly newsletter, Chamber Vision, we also offer a variety of great opportunities for all of our members to network. The Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce is also involved in many other community activities. Each year we hold our Annual 5K Run for Education, which provides scholarships for students at our local high schools. Along with our Annual Dinner Dance, Trash and Treasures, and Summer Golf outing, each year we host the Lisle Community Art Project and Auction with this year featuring painted rain barrels throughout the Village.
Please use the membership directory to assist in our mission of Chamber members helping Chamber members. I sometimes refer to it as keeping the business in the family. Please review the numerous informational resources, to come and join us at the many wonderful events each week.
