Add a pro-business outlook to the mix and it is no wonder that Lisle has become the “place to be” for businesses of all types and sizes.
The Village’s leaders are instrumental in Lisle’s economic success, which is evidenced by the aggressive use of sales tax rebate programming. With the employment of both a Village Manager and an Economic Development Manager, the Village of Lisle is dedicated to drawing in new industry and commercial development, while at the same time preserving and boosting its existing business districts.
A multitude of major corporations make their presence known in Lisle, with many having established corporate headquarters and additional major facilities within the area. Molex, a manufacturer of electronic components, is a significant force in the Village’s economic vitality, currently employing more than 750 people. Further major employers in Lisle include Computer Associates, Lucent Technologies, Tellabs, Wallace Computer Services, Budget Rent-A-Car and IKON Office Solutions. Additionally, Benedictine University and Lisle Community School District are among the largest employers in Lisle.
