Education
Lombard’s school system has five public school districts that are comprised of 14 elementary schools, four middle schools and three high schools. There are five private parochial grade schools in Lombard, and two private high schools, Montini Catholic High School and College Prepatory School of America. Since its founding in 1965, the College of DuPage, in neighboring Glen Ellyn, has grown to be one of the nation’s largest community colleges. Located in Lombard, the National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) offers academic programs in alternative medicine encompassing chiropractic, naturopathy, acupuncture, oriental medicine, massage therapy and chiropractic assistance.
