Yorktown Center – one of the nation’s major shopping malls – is the core of Lombard’s retail activity. Such retail giants as JCPenney, Carson Pirie Scott and Von Maur anchor the enclosed mall. Expansion at Yorktown Center shows no signs of slowing down. The Shops on Butterfield added more than 200,000 square feet of new retail space and restaurants such as Lucky Strike Lanes and D.O.C. Wine Bar. The Roosevelt Road corridor offers many retail establishments such as Ultra Foods, Hobby Lobby and Harbor Freight, along with many restaurants and small retail businesses that include national chains.
