Lombard’s school system has five public school districts that are comprised of 12 elementary schools, four middle schools and three high schools. There are five private parochial grade schools in Lombard, and Montini Catholic High School serves Lombard and neighboring communities. Since its founding in 1965, the College of DuPage in neighboring Glen Ellyn has grown to one be of the nation’s largest community colleges. Located in Lombard, the National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) is the first college of health science education to incorporate a Training and Assessment Center and operates a world-renowned research center in the areas of chiropractic, complementary and alternative medicine.
