Retail Activity

Yorktown Center—one of the nation’s major shopping malls—is the core of Lombard’s retail activity. Such retail giants as J.C. Penney, Carson Pirie Scott, and Von Maur anchor the enclosed mall, which fills 120 acres. Yorktown’s AMC 17 Cinemas has stadium seating in all of their 17 theaters, and patrons now have the option of attending the “Premium Theatre” which includes drinks and dining. Shopping is also available at several strip malls like High Point Centre, Lombard Pines, several locations along Main Street and Roosevelt Road, and the Northgate and Eastgate shopping centers.
