One of Montgomery's finest assets is the Fox River and its surrounding dedicated park lands. The Village boasts one of the highest park-land-to-residents ratios in the Fox Valley, with more than 13 acres of parks per thousand residents. An expanding network of bike trails connects Montgomery to nearby communities. Montgomery is served by the Fox Valley Park District and the Oswegoland Park District, which each offer a wide range of classes and recreational opportunities for all ages. Provena Mercy and Rush-Copley Hospitals in neighboring Aurora provide a full range of health care services to area residents. The Rush-Copley Healthplex offers state-of-the-art exercise equipment, along with swimming pools, tennis courts, and fitness classes of every type, as well as a 35,000 square foot medical office complex.
