Government
Montgomery is governed by a Village President and six trustees elected at-large to staggered four-year terms. The Village Clerk is also elected to a four-year term. Montgomery employs a full-time professional Village Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Village, along with trained and experienced department heads and other professional support staff. Montgomery is also served by five fire protection districts, five school districts, two library districts and two park districts.
