Mount Prospect is conveniently located in Chicago’s northwest suburbs 22 miles from downtown Chicago. The Village has quick access to the surrounding suburbs and downtown Chicago via the Metra commuter rail system and the Northwest (Interstate 90) and Tri-State (Interstate 294) tollways. Northwest Highway (Route 14), Rand Road (Route 12), Golf Road (Route 58), Algonquin Road (Route 62), Dempster Street and Elmhurst Road (Route 83) are additional routes that link Mount Prospect with neighboring towns throughout the region.
Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport (just five miles away) and Midway Airport are both easily accessible by car or public transportation.
