Live in Naperville

Naperville’s housing stock is enviable, ranging from rental apartments to sizable single-family homes. People of all ages and economic means find Naperville an ideal place to reside.Brittany Springs Apartments

Brittany Springs Apartments, located near Ogden Avenue and Fort Hill Drive, have been a part of the Naperville community’s housing options since 1995. But in order to keep them on the cutting edge of housing options, the community’s management is currently updating lighting, flooring and cabinets inside the complex’s units, according to Natalie Nava, manager.

Popular with singles, couples and families, the Brittany Springs rental units, all of which feature private entrances, a balcony or patio and a private storage unit, range from one to three bedrooms and many, but not all, have one-car garages. The units are distributed between 24 brick and vinyl-exterior buildings.

Brittany Springs boasts a plethora of recreational facilities including both indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a 24-hour fitness facility, racquetball courts, an indoor hot tub, tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, a business center with a conference room that can be rented, a children’s playground and a clubhouse that can be rented for private parties.

In addition, in order to build a sense of community, the complex’s staff plans regular social events like a Winter Blues party, St. Patrick’s Day happy hour, a Sports Night Out, summer pool party with live music, a fall harvest party and even a Halloween craft event for the complex’s children.

Charitable events are also planned periodically. For instance, they recently held a Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend and a Hurricane Harvey fundraising drive.

John Greene Realtor

john greene Realtor is a family-owned and operated company, founded in 1976 by John Greene. At its inception, John saw an opportunity to add value to the local real estate market by focusing on personal relationships, hand-picked agents and local expertise. He captured the vision for the company in the tagline “A Better Way.”

Four decades later, the firm that bears his name remains committed to helping its communities grow, not just growing its business. As a result, john greene Realtor is known as a family-owned boutique brokerage that brings the reach of an expansive global network of independent real estate companies to each and every one of its clients.

As the next generation of family leadership guides john greene Realtor into the future, they remain committed to the people and values that built their company.

“We have a carefully selected team of full-time and highly trained agents. We seek to hire only the best and most dedicated agents in the industry,” Tim Greene, president and CEO said. “We focus on the quality of our agents over the quantity of our sales force; proudly maintaining our 40-year reputation for excellence, innovation and delivering a five-star client experience.”

As testament of their success, the firm has received many accolades including being named to the Chicago Tribune Top Workplaces; being voted Best Real Estate Company by readers of Naperville Magazine the past eight years in a row; and being named to the 2015 and 2016 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in America.

Earlier this year, Tim Greene took another step toward advancing the company’s prominence as a leading independent provider of full-service real estate services by acquiring a Naperville-based property management company. This follows the success his company has had with john greene Industrial, the latest expansion to the john greene Real Estate family, which also includes john greene Realtor, john greene Commercial and john greene Land Company.

Grand Reserve of Naperville

The recently renovated and updated “Grand Reserve of Naperville” rental community, located near I-88 and Route 59, boasts magnificent features and double-take-worthy finishes everywhere. The design is modern and elegant, with rich layers of textures and wood throughout. The townhouses are equally as impressive with premium upgrades and plans that include lofts and two-story layouts.

The apartment homes at Grand Reserve evoke a spirit of classic elegance with a whole lot of attention paid to the things you use and touch every day. There’s a wide range of floor plans from which to choose – including lofts and two-story layouts – all equipped with luxury finishes like granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, ceiling fans, eco-friendly flooring and in-home washers and dryers. Some also include fireplaces and vaulted ceilings.

The new “community” social spaces are inviting, with luxuries like a swimming pool, pet spa, outdoor kitchen, nature trails, firepit, media room, conference room, gaming tables and a top-of-the-line fitness center.

Up to two dogs and cats are permitted in certain units, for an extra fee, but there are some breed restrictions.

Riverwalk Realty

Skip and Barb Juckins have been selling residential real estate in Naperville, Aurora and the surrounding communities since 1995, working for two other real estate brokerages and Skip was also a certified real estate pre-licensing instructor and a certified continuing education instructor for several years.

The pair opened their own company in 2002. Originally known as “Juckins Realty,” the firm was quickly re-named “Riverwalk Realty” when other area agents asked to join the couple in their business, Skip said.

Today the boutique real estate agency boasts 10 agents and a number of local investors. Riverwalk Realty agents primarily take listings in the Naperville and Aurora areas, for the sake of proximity and convenience, Skip noted, but they show clients homes and condominiums and subsequently help them purchase real estate in communities from Chicago’s Gold Coast to Paw Paw, and from Manhattan to Lake in the Hills.

“We can take a client anywhere to see a unit, but it is much easier to service a property if it is close by,” he said.

Riverwalk Realty lists and sells properties at all price points and of all sizes – whatever the client wants.

“Properties in Naperville move very quickly because it has great public schools and is a great place to live. For those reasons, Naperville has rebounded from the recession better than most other communities. The word has even spread beyond the Chicago area. Transferees from across the country come to Naperville, looking for homes,” Skip said.

“While there is no perfect house, we have our clients put together wish lists and then we work to find homes that are as close as possible to those lists,” he added. “We are able to send clients listings and extensive photos of a number of properties so they can narrow down the places they want to actually see.

“Barb and I, as well as our agents, work hard to treat people the way we want to be treated ourselves,” Skip said.
