
The Village government is overseen by a Village Board that consists of an elected Village President and six elected Trustees. The Village Board passes an annual budget and sets the operational policies of the Village.
A professional staff carries out the directives of the departments. The elected officials and staff pride themselves on accessibility; if a resident wishes to talk, someone will gladly listen.
The North Aurora Fire Protection District provides fire suppression prevention, ambulance and public education services. Fox Valley Park District offers recreational services, and West Aurora School District 129 operates the public schools.
The Village has four deep wells to provide water to the community. Fox Metro Water Reclamation District provides sanitary sewer.
