Northfield is surrounded by the Cook County Forest Preserve, Skokie Lagoons and golf courses.
There is direct access to the Edens Expressway (I-94), and the Tri State Tollway (I-294) is less than four miles west of Northfield. O’Hare Airport is only a 25-minute drive. Commuters are minutes from the Winnetka and Glenview Metra stations, which both offer 40-minute trips to Chicago’s loop. Only 20 miles from the heart of Chicago, Northfield is within easy reach of all downtown businesses and cultural and recreational attractions.
