The NSACI area features a solid transportation network, which is an integral component for success in business and industry. Interstates 90, 290 and 294 connect the NSACI area to Chicago (east) and with suburbs to the north, south and west. Interstate 294 also reaches markets in Wisconsin and Indiana, and I-355 is vital for connections in the south suburbs. The Woodfield Mall area is accessible on Route 53 via convenient exits at Route 58 (Golf Road) and Route 72 (Higgins Road).
Chicago’s two major airports, O’Hare International and Midway, are easily accessible from most northwest suburban communities. O’Hare is a part of the NSACI territory and within a half-hour of most of the communities, while Midway is within an hour’s drive. Metra rail lines have extensive coverage throughout the region, allowing for an easy commute in and around the northwest suburbs and into Chicago.
