Organizations in Olympia Fields
The not-for-profit Enhancement Organization was established in 1994 to educate citizens about issues of importance for Olympia Fields’ success as a community and serves as an umbrella organization for Olympia Fields’ homeowners associations. Membership has steadily risen as those involved help influence public policy to maintain the Village’s high quality of life through preservation of its homes, resources, and works to assure the safety and well-being of all residents and cooperate with one another.
The group was also instrumental in helping establish the Olympia Fields’ Community Relations Commission, which works closely with the Enhancement Organization to foster a spirit of cooperation between all in the community. The organization also strives to keep the lines of communication open between government, schools, businesses and residents.
The Olympia Fields Woman’s Club provides its members networking and volunteer opportunities, entertainment, social activities, as well as benefiting numerous local and regional philanthropic groups and offering scholarships to local students. Residents can also join local chapters of national organizations such as the Sierra Club, Audubon Society, League of Women Voters and several local social and civic organizations. They always welcome new members and volunteers to pursue common interests.
