On behalf of the 57,000 proud citizens of Orland Park, I would like to welcome you to our scenic and unique corner of metropolitan Chicago. Located 25-30 miles southwest of Chicago’s Loop, Orland Park was settled as a small farm village more than 100 years ago, and it has grown into a large, dynamic and progressive community. Orland Park has easy access to the Loop, O’Hare and Midway Airports, as well as the myriad attractions of metropolitan Chicago, via several interstate highways and Metra’s commuter rail system – making travel convenient to our residents and business community.
Orland Park has always strived to provide an outstanding quality of life for its people. Our residents have a year-round recreation system with hiking and biking trails, wildlife refuges, lush forest preserves, aquatic center, ice arena, golf courses, playing fields, gymnasiums and more. The school systems have reputations for excellence and innovation. Shopping opportunities range from antique emporiums in Orland Park’s Historic District, to the exquisitely renovated Orland Square Regional Mall, the redeveloped Orland Park Place, and the newly opened Orland Park Crossing.

Plans are currently underway for the redevelopment of the Main Street Triangle, a pedestrian-friendly town center that will include commercial, retail and residential space. Superb restaurants cater to every taste, and theaters abound with entertainment selections. A variety of housing options is available, from affordable to upscale, in an array of pleasant single-family homes, townhomes, condominiums and apartments.
Offices and business parks offer diverse employment potential, along with a positive and welcoming environment for businesses. Orland Park’s people actively participate in an outstanding network of religious, athletic, business, academic, hobby, and social organizations, bringing a rich tapestry of talent to benefit the community.
Come experience the quality of life that has been achieved in Orland Park. We will happily share our enthusiasm with you!
