Shopping in Paris is as much a social occasion as it is a matter of necessity. In addition to downtown shopping, a shopping plaza on the city’s southeast side is popular, with Kroger, CVS Pharmacy, and Radio Shack. Super Wal-Mart opened at the southeast end of town in the fall of 2000. Verona Mall is also located on East Jasper.
On the north side of Paris, shopping includes Dollar General Store, Pools True Value/Just Ask Rentals, Lori’s Pins & Needles and a large Rural King Farm Store.
Downtown businesses offer a variety of furniture, art, hardware, pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, antiques, gifts, and crafts. Shopkeepers are friendly, courteous and enjoy a great conversation about their latest item.
