Primary arteries on the northern edge are Northwest Highway (US 14) and the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad.
Public Transportation includes the RTA Metra Commuter rail lines and the RTA Pace buses. The trains take commuters to and from Chicago daily as well as to towns along the way.
