Location and Transportation
Situated in the heart of the growing economic and commercial zone known as the “Golden Corridor,” Rolling Meadows provides quick access to O’Hare International Airport and five major interchanges that can be reached from any direction.
Illinois Route 53 (I-290) and the Northwest Tollway (I-90) provide direct routes to and from Chicago, which is only 30 minutes away. Nearby, I-355 provides access to the metropolitan highway system.
State Routes 62 (Algonquin Road) and 58 (Golf Road) serve the southern sector.
Primary arteries on the northern edge are Northwest Highway (US 14) and the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad.
Public Transportation includes the RTA Metra Commuter rail lines and the RTA Pace buses. The trains take commuters to and from Chicago daily as well as to towns along the way.
There are several bus routes making it convenient for people to travel to such destinations as Randhurst Mall, Cook County Courthouse District 3, Rolling Meadows Shopping Center, Woodfield Mall and Harper College.
