Harper College in nearby Palatine is one of the nation’s premier community colleges and also one of the largest, serving 40,000 students annually in Chicago’s northwest suburbs.

Harper’s academic programs prepare students for careers and for transfer to four-year universities. Harper also offers career programs, certificates, workforce training, professional development continuing education classes and developmental education programs.

At DePaul University’s campus (847-437-9522) in Rolling Meadows, technology and business curriculums, as well as liberal and fine arts, are emphasized among the university’s 130 undergraduate and graduate programs.

Roosevelt University, with campuses in Chicago, is a comprehensive four-year university offering 126 degree programs in the arts, sciences, business and education.

The 30-acre campus offers classes during the day, evening and weekends to accommodate students’ busy work and family schedules. Current enrollment is more than 7,400 students, of whom about one third are pursuing graduate studies.

Founded in 1907, Olivet’s 220-acre main campus is located in Bourbonnais, Illinois. With more than 100 undergraduate and 12 graduate programs, and a total enrollment of 4,500 students, Olivet is one of the top-ranked liberal arts institutions in Illinois.

Rolling Meadows is also within an easy commute from Chicago-based educational institutions such as the University of Illinois-Chicago, University of Chicago, Loyola University, Columbia College and several others.
