Sandwich is centrally located just 60 miles west of Chicago and is bisected by Illinois Route 34, which provides a direct link east to the Chicagoland area. In addition, I-80, a highway that stretches cross-country from the Atlantic to the Pacific, sits approximately 20 miles south of Sandwich. Connected to the center is the new 100-room Best Western Timber Creek Inn & Suites, while just next door construction is continuing on the upcoming Waves of Fun Indoor Water Park, a 65,000-square foot, five-story aquatic complex.
