The Village of Schaumburg is the largest center of economic development in the State of Illinois outside the City of Chicago. We have more retail sales here than anywhere else except the City, as much office space as downtown Milwaukee, and 10 million square feet of industrial development. Nevertheless, we are still very much a community of neighbors and neighborhoods.
Quality of life is important to us and we are constantly at work to enhance it. Schaumburg boasts over 85 miles of bike paths both on-street and off and the Schaumburg Prairie Center for the Arts offers a 442-seat theater, gallery, outdoor stage and a full season of entertainment.
We also have a baseball stadium, Alexian Field – home of the Schaumburg Flyers – a sculpture garden, a lovely town center, plus the magnificent 135-acre Spring Valley Nature Sanctuary with hiking trails, native prairie grasses, a log cabin and a historic farm site.
With excellent schools, a superb park district and superior Village services, Schaumburg is a wonderful place to live, work and raise a family. And if you just want to visit, our hotels, restaurants and shops will make your stay a comfortable one.
Welcome to Schaumburg!
