CORE VALUES
Integrity: To practice and promote business ethics and honor our commitments.
Leadership: To provide examples of how to operate successfully as a business in Schaumburg and provide quality, cutting-edge programs and services that benefit our members.

Support: To serve our members by facilitating numerous networking opportunities and advocating on behalf of our membership through service and programs.
Community: To include a group of diverse individuals mutually participating and unified for the betterment of all.
Friendship: To foster personal relationships among members with warmth, respect and genuineness.
In 2001 a small group of local businesses leaders launched the Schaumburg Business Association, with the idea providing unique opportunities for organizations doing business in Schaumburg, the largest center of commerce in Illinois outside Chicago.
Today the Association’s membership had grown to nearly 700 business members who rely on the SBA for connections to their business and residential neighbors, elected officials, prospective customers, clients and vendors. They enjoy the ability to market and grow their businesses in an atmosphere of friendship and support.

As the founding president of the Schaumburg Business Association, I’ve had a wonderful opportunity to work with our members to frame SBA’s mission, and set goals for today and tomorrow. It has also been my pleasure to work with the talented and dedicated staff that manages the Association’s day to day operations, programs and special events.
If you’re not yet onboard as a member, I encourage you to join us. Please call Sue Keener at 847-413-1010 or visit www.schaumburgbusiness.com to learn how membership can benefit you. You’ll be glad you did, and so will we!

AMERICAN ENTERPRISE BANK
American Enterprise Bank, a locally owned community bank located in Buffalo Grove, Highland Park, and Schaumburg is eager to serve small businesses in the region. Established in 1995 and in Schaumburg for seven years, the bank manages a number of SBA (Small Business Administration) loans. Its process is different than other banks — American Enterprise Bank approves its own loans. “We cut a lot of red tape...the time frame is truncated and that goes the same for our other products as well. If a customer brings me all of their financial information, I can usually give them an answer in a week,” said Bank President Dan LaPetina.
