Welcome to historic St. Charles, where fostering opportunity, building community and enhancing quality of life for all is the new mission statement for our special community. Along with this defining purpose, the City has established a set of Guiding Principles that includes respect, engagement, fostering a sense of community, accountability and excellence. Our residents, business owners and community stakeholders are committed to these standards, helping to make St. Charles a great place to be.
Our award-winning parks and recreational areas, nationally recognized schools, variety of shopping and entertainment centers, clean and safe streets, and continuing promotion and commitment to the cultural arts make our river community a great place to live, work and play, all year long. St. Charles is a very special community, and one that I am truly proud to call my “home.”
