Community Involvement
Sterling and Rock Falls have community organizations for nearly every interest. Service organizations such as Rotary, Kiwanis, Jaycees, Lions and the United Way are very active in the area sponsoring fundraisers for the charities they support. Caring organizations such as the YWCA and YMCA, Hospice, Home of Hope and Twin Cities Homeless Shelter all provide a place where one can get help. The area schools have PTO and booster groups for those who wish to help with students. The VFW and American Legion offer support to veterans. These organizations offer community support and the opportunity to know your neighbor better.
