Welcome to Streator
Welcome from the Streator Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI). From the humble beginnings as a North Central Illinois coal mining town, Streator has grown over the years to boast a thriving business community, supported by outstanding educational and community organizations.
SACCI’s mission is to: “Retain, support, and expand economic development leading to a better quality of life in Streator.” Our aim is to promote Streator business and attract new development to this vibrant community.
With close access to three interstates (I-55, I-80, and I-39), outstanding rail access, lower overhead, and an able workforce, we know Streator is an excellent location to do business in. Manufacturers such as Vactor Manufacturing (a Federal Signal company), distributors like US Foods, and retailers including K-Mart and Kroger have all thrived in the Streator area. Recently, Hilton Reservations Worldwide was so impressed with Streator that they located their Midwest call center here.
