Welcome to the Sycamore Chamber of Commerce Lifestyle & Business Directory. This guide will inform people about Sycamore and all the many amenities offered in our community. Everyone is welcome to walk the streets of our downtown, visit the nearly 30 industries, and tour the parks, museums, and neighborhoods. Sycamore is rich in history, with strong ties to agriculture and a small-town feel, both of which continue to be nurtured with effective preservation, conservation, and restoration of the central business district and neighborhoods throughout the city.
Two museums focused on natural history and historical artifacts attest to the value the community maintains in remaining linked with the world and local history. Some businesses are generational in ownership and management, and other newer enterprises have been successful in finding their market niche in Sycamore. Many local industries are multinational in production and sales. We value businesses and industries who have chosen Sycamore where they invest jobs, goods and services, taxes, and generous charitable support of activities to provide prosperity for all.
