Tinley Park IL Convention Center
Adjoining the Holiday Inn is the expansive Tinley Park Convention Center, a modern exhibition facility comprised of more than 40,000 square feet of event space. The flexible convention center is capable of handling anywhere from five to 5,700 people and hosts a multitude of events each year. White Water Canyon Water Park
Encompassing five acres of water entertainment, the White Water Canyon Water Park is a great place to spend a day with the family. Operated by the Tinley Park - Park District, the water park features a zero-depth entry pool with an interactive children’s play area, a diving board, and tube and body slides. The Spray Ground is filled with exciting water features, and the 600-foot lazy river is perfect for those in need of some relaxation under the sun. Chicagoland Speedway & Route 66 Raceway
The Chicagoland Speedway and Route 66 Raceway make up one of the most exciting motorsports complexes in the country. It all began in 1997 with the establishment of the Route 66 Raceway, comprised of a 1Ú4-mile drag strip and half-mile dirt oval track. A few years later came the adjacent Chicagoland Speedway, a $130 million facility featuring a 1.5-mile D-shaped tri-oval speedway and a 15-story, 75,000-seat Grandstand. The Route 66 Raceway hosts a number of events throughout the year, notably Pro Stock Bike races and Funny Car races. Toyota Park is a state-of-the-art, 469,000-square-foot outdoor stadium a few miles north of Tinley Park. In addition to the sporting events held at Toyota Park, Tinley Park has access to a number of additional professional sports teams. A 10-minute drive to Crestwood brings fans to Standard Bank Stadium (14011 S. Kenton Ave.), home to the Windy City Thunderbolts professional baseball team.
