Train Station

The center of Chicago’s south side, Tinley Park’s accessible location is ideal for both people and businesses. A number of major U.S. interstate highways are situated near the community, including I-80 and I-57. I-55, I-90 and I-94 are accessible through I-80, and nearby I-65 in Indiana provides a way to the southern states. In addition, U.S. 45, U.S. 6, U.S. 30 and Illinois 43 connect Tinley Park with other cities in the area.

Air transportation is available through several nearby airports. Midway International Airport is located approximately 30 minutes north, O’Hare International Airport is about 45 minutes northwest and the Gary/Chicago International Airport is situated 30 minutes east of Tinley Park. Two Metra train stations, the recently renovated Oak Park Avenue Station and the 80th Avenue Station, are also available to commuters traveling to and from downtown Chicago, to Joliet and to all stops in between.
