US Route 24 and State Route 8 service Washington, with Interstate 74 located just ten miles west. Washington residents also have access to the nearby Peoria International Airport (PIA), which offers daily non-stop flights to and from Chicago, Dallas–Fort Worth, Denver, Detroit, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Phoenix/Mesa and Tampa/St. Petersburg. PIA is served by the airlines of Allegiant Air, American Eagle, Delta and United Express. Chicago airports O’Hare and Midway are approximately three hours from Washington.
