Welcome to Waukegan!
The Waukegan Business Association was established in 2004 and has grown to a membership of over 140 businesses, both small and large. The Waukegan Business Association’s mission is to offer needed services and member benefits that will assist all businesses in our community.
The Waukegan business community is made up of many dynamic and diverse leaders and entrepreneurs. Working together as a group and not individually, supporting each others endeavors, can only lead to a strong and more united business community. We are shaping Waukegan’s business environment and making the city an exceptional place to live and work.
We hope you find the information presented in this publication useful, and will visit and support the many wonderful advertisers who made this project possible.
Since joining the Waukegan Business Association as Executive Director in March of 2007, I have had the opportunity to meet many of the diverse leaders and business owners that comprise Waukegan’s business community.
The Waukegan Business Association is supported by an esteemed Board of Directors and we are looking forward to building our membership, working with the City of Waukegan to bring new businesses into the community and to contribute to the revitalization of our wonderful city.

I am proud to be the founding chairman of the Waukegan Business Association. Our Board of Directors is comprised of a diverse group of civic and government leaders who are working to promote an environment of growth and prosperity for our businesses and neighborhoods. As Board members we are committed to working towards moving the City of Waukegan forward.
The Waukegan Business Association is dedicated to supporting the economic growth of the business community. Our mission is to promote business growth in Waukegan, to serve our members with personal and professional development opportunities, and to affect public policy decisions to the benefit of the Waukegan business community. We continue to work towards achieving these goals and towards meeting the needs of our diverse members, while continuously recruiting new members.
