Introduction
Welcome to the western suburbs. You will find that we are perfectly located to meet your needs. Made up of nine communities that comprise the West Suburban Chamber of Commerce and Industry, our part of Cook County is close to two international airports, multiple highways and two commuter rail lines. The City of Countryside and the Villages of Hodgkins, Indian Head Park, La Grange, La Grange Park, Lyons, McCook, Western Springs and Willow Springs are filled with great restaurants, dozens of parks, forest preserves and hundreds of shops. Since some of our communities have histories that go back a hundred years or more, we have the look of yesteryear as well as all of the modern conveniences of today.
If you are hoping to find an art show, festival in a park, carnival or antique stores, we have them. If you want a quiet place to play with your children, jog with your dog, swim or work out—yes, we have those and more. In our portion of the western suburbs, we offer at least four seasons of fun.
