The 12th largest among more than 80 private colleges and universities in Illinois, Lewis University offers approximately 65 undergraduate majors and programs of study. Many other colleges and universities surround the area. The University of Illinois, Illinois State, Bradley University, Northern Illinois University, North Central College and Benedictine University are all within a short drive.
