College Bound

College students, whether they’re 18 or 60 years of age, need not travel far to begin a major, continue their education, complete a degree, or just take a class for the joy of learning.

Many Woodridge college students, both teenager and adult, take advantage of the affordable tuition and wide range of classes scheduled at the College of DuPage, a community college based at a 273-acre campus in nearby Glen Ellyn. The college offers associate degrees in business, humanities, horticulture, natural sciences, social and behavioral sciences, and occupational and vocational education. After completing their course requirements at the College of DuPage, students are fully trained in a trade or profession or prepared to transfer as juniors to a four-year college or university.

The Westwood College of Technology, located in MidPoint Corporate Center, offers a variety of classes that allow residents to obtain associate and bachelor’s degrees in the fields of high technology, medical, and services.
